There are a variety of ways to support new church planting in northeast Georgia!
1) Pray! Anyone and everyone can contribute to new church plants by praying!
Jesus said, "The harvest is truly plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest" (Matthew 9:37-38).
New churches are essentially "light shining in the darkness" (John 1:5) as they penetrate new harvest fields with God's message of love, forgiveness, hope, and salvation. It is spiritual battle on the front lines! Our warriors need your prayer support!
You can be added to the New Work Ministry prayer email list by contacting

2) Give! The Chattahoochee Baptist Association established a New Work Foundation in August, 2007 to receive gifts of finances, property, stock, life insurance proceeds, and other valuables, in order to quickly advance the Kingdom growth. To learn how CBA can become part of your estate planning, please call the CBA office at 770-532-3371 and ask for information on our New Work Foundation.
Other methods of giving include:
** participate in our annual CBA New Work Foundation Golf Tournament as a corporate
sponsor, hole sponsor, or participant;
** supply extra study materials or furnishings (chairs, tables, whiteboards) to new churches - what you provide saves them from having to purchase items new!
** include New Church Planting in your church's mission budget
** commit to giving a monthly amount through your personal finances
** honor a deceased loved one in lieu of flowers, or celebrate an accomplishment (wedding, graduation, birthday), or honor your pastor with a gift to the New Work Foundation. It will be a gift that keeps on giving!
3) Get involved! Mobilize your Sunday School class, WMU, or Brotherhood group to assist any one of our new churches in short-term mission projects. Contact a new church planter to inquire what they need and when they need it! Ideas include VBS staffing, child-care, set-up and take-down crews, door-to-door surveys -- "ask and ye shall receive" an assignment!
